The tenth week once more provided excitement, with a major surprise for the Bills proving the 'any given Sunday' saying that draws so many fans into the National Football League
This outcome could have created things up for the New England Patriots to creep back into a top spot they formerly held, with a remaining games that provides them an advantage over their eight and two rivals
Over in the National Football Conference the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams had ideal outcomes to set up a monster clash in week 11, while our player of the week is pursuing milestones as well as the MVP award
The Breakdown - Simply an Off Day for Buffalo?
Was it just an emotional letdown from beating the Chiefs last week or something more? This remains the question for the Bills to answer
The Buffalo squad had won seven in a consecutive games against the Dolphins but were second best from the beginning as the Miami team ran out 30-13 victors in an eye-opening result - and performance
MVP Josh Allen only got the team's opening first down in the third period and initial scoring in the fourth - yes the Dolphins had 10 days to get ready but it was still a massive egg laid by one of the NFL's best offenses
Tua Tagovailoa passed for two touchdowns but rusher Achane was the devastating difference, with 225 combined yards and two scores
Bottling up the league's best running game was crucial too, with James Cook and teammates registering just eighty-six yards, their lowest of the season and just over fifty percent their 161.5 yard season average
Additionally there were the three crucial ball losses, and the pair from Allen specifically. An interception in the end zone meaning a nine minute possession yielded no points, and his fourth-quarter dropped ball that the Dolphins converted to seven points just later
It was classic 'previous Bills teams' as they shot themselves in the foot, getting into a deficit on defense and Allen attempting to overcompensate to dig his team out of it - rather than the calm, disciplined, well-balanced Bills we've witnessed this year
The Dolphins have served up a bit of everything this year so the jury's out on if this is the start of something, but for Buffalo they'll require an instant response in a tough game against the Buccaneers next week as the Patriots are quietly moving into a nice lead at the summit of the American Football Conference East
Spotlight - Patriots See Path to Surprise Top Seed
Speaking of the New England, they're one of three different eight and two teams in the NFL, all American Football Conference sides, but could they be the top team?
You can pick holes in the Patriots, Denver and the Colts actually for feasting on the weaker opponents, with only five of their combined twenty-four wins coming against teams with a winning record - and one example was the Indianapolis defeating the Broncos
The Broncos defeated the champion Eagles in Philadelphia and are kings of the final quarter while Indianapolis can ride Jonathan Taylor, but the Patriots including Sunday's victory in Tampa to their prime time win in Orchard Park appears to be a statement
Their two defeats came in recently appointed coach Vrabel's initial three contests, with seven straight victories, similar to Denver, from that point - but taking down Mayfield after the Bucs had a bye to prepare was huge
Drake Maye's Most Valuable Player credentials won't go away, and he certainly earns point for bravery after taking some hard tackles in Tampa but persevering to steer his team to victory
The defense is reliable and first-year rusher TreVeyon Henderson burst onto the scene on Sunday with 147 rushing yards and two exciting touchdowns of 55 and 69 yards - establishing himself as just the fifth ball carrier to exceed 22 miles per hour this year on his first score
While you can argue who 'the best' is statistically, the Patriots should be favourites to end with the top record due to their remaining opponents - which includes just one game against a winning team, although a significant contest against the Bills
Traveling to the Ravens is challenging too, but the Broncos have it even tougher in the AFC West division with the Chiefs to play twice, the Chargers (who could also challenge for first place but face the identical challenge) and also the Packers on the fixture list
The Indianapolis also face the Chiefs, and have the Seahawks, 49ers and two matchups with the 5-4 Jacksonville to face. There's a considerable distance to travel but the opportunity is open for a surprise top seed in the AFC
Coming Up - Los Angeles and Seattle Prepare for Week 11 Clash
Both squads with solid claims to be better than all of the three different 8-2 teams are NFC West rivals the Seattle and Rams, who each scored forty points to reach 7-2 ahead of the upcoming major game between the two in Los Angeles
Both have secured four victories in a consecutive games, have signal callers in Stafford and Darnold playing at an elite level (although Sam Darnold had ball security problems on game day) with excellent pass catchers, and defenses giving up fewer than twenty points a game
Both could realistically be without a loss as well - particularly the Rams as their two defeats occurred in overtime against the San Francisco and then that agonising loss in Philadelphia when they had a potentially winning kick with the final play blocked and run back by the Eagles for a touchdown
The Seahawks also lost to the 49ers, with a late touchdown in the opening week, before losing to the last kick of the game against the Tampa Bay - so they're genuinely among the best sides in the NFL
The upcoming game on Sunday could be the best of the season to date
Top Performer - Taylor
Taylor could be on for a record season after his incredible display in Berlin - rushing for 244 yards, registering three scores and contributing another forty-two {receiving yards
