Loyal supporters of the actress are urging that a person who breached a barricade and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and charging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a yellow carpet flanked by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was due to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes clips of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," commented an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user questioned.

Fans Express Concern Over Grande's Well-being

Several followers blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented a further comment on Instagram.

Some fans also criticised guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while some called for digital services to block Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande seemed startled when she was approached by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Many of Singapore supporters had lined up to see the actors of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had gathered in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore venue, including some who had queued for as long as eight hours before it started.

The film, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-film interpretation of the popular theatrical production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two distinct characters.

The musical itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and scored ten Academy Award nods, securing several for outstanding attire and set decoration.
